Immanuel United Church of Christ has many opportunities for Christian fellowship. As the work of Christ is accomplished through the body of believers on a large scale, fellowship groups strive after the same goals, only on a more intimate level through small communities sharing common interests. Ideally, fellowship groups enable their members to commit to pray for and encourage each other, be involved in the lives of small group families, as well as the church family and its various ministries. Click on our different fellowship groups to learn more about them and see how you can become involved!

Christians In Action

(CIA)

Christians In Action is a boisterous and fun-loving group of adults who gather monthly for food, fellowship, fun, and service.

Activities include going on field trips, theater events and restaurants, hosting guest speakers, movie nights, holiday parties, and service projects. This group excels in supporting worthy causes and each other! All meetings include good food!

Meetings are on the 4th Thursday of each month (usually at noon except when we’re doing a special event), so come join the fun. All are welcome!

The Book Buddies is a self-forming group of adults which meets every Monday night from 7-8:30pm. You do not have to come every night, just whenever you can make it or when the topic interests you. The group chooses the next book by consensus. If you have any questions you may contact Ron Gordon at rgordonret@yahoo.com

DAWGS (or Do All With God) is our children's activity group.

Our kids, ages K-5th grade, enjoy trips to pick pumpkins, painting, outdoor movies, play dates at parks, and anything else we can do together with our church friends!

DAWGS

We have an amazingly active Youth Group. Every year we have two retreats (Spring and Fall), summer camp, a work trip, fundraisers, and lead worship on Youth Sunday. We also meet at least once a month for youth meetings that can be purely fun events like game night, lock-ins, or we go out and serve the community. We do activities with the Kentuckiana Association of UCC churches No matter what we do, we always have fun!  Grades 6-12
