Immanuel United Church of Christ has many opportunities for Christian fellowship. As the work of Christ is accomplished through the body of believers on a large scale, fellowship groups strive after the same goals, only on a more intimate level through small communities sharing common interests. Ideally, fellowship groups enable their members to commit to pray for and encourage each other, be involved in the lives of small group families, as well as the church family and its various ministries. Click on our different fellowship groups to learn more about them and see how you can become involved!
CUFFS is a social and service organization within Immanuel United Church of Christ. The CUFFS mission is based on the premise that fun and fellowship work hand-in-hand with service in honor of our Lord. The acronym CUFFS stands for Christians United for Fun, Fellowship, and Service. Meetings are usually held on the second Saturday evening of the month. All are welcome!
We would love to have you join us! If you need more information, contact Pamela at email@example.com, the CUFFS President. We hope to see you soon.
Hui-O FEWS (Hui-O means circle of friends in Hawaiian language; FEWS is an acronym for Fellowship, Education, Worship and Service) is a very active, long-standing group at Immanuel. The group is approaching nearly 50 years together but has always gathered new members along its faith and works journey. Traditionally this group is noted for its many, many activities.
Presently, in association with the Congregational Care Ministry, the Hui-Os support and organize the bereavement luncheon program for church members. Annual activities include the “famous” spaghetti dinners, Brooklawn events, Lenten Dinner Theatre, Teddy Bear Sunday, and the Septemberfest’s “U Can It - U Win It” booth. This group excels in supporting worthy causes and each other!
Our greatest asset is that of fellowship; this includes monthly meetings. Examples include cook-outs, zoo trips, Actors Theatre, field trips and movie night. All meetings include good food!
Meetings are on the 4th Friday of each month, so come join the fun. All are welcome
This group of mature singles and couples meets the 2nd Thursday of each month. The group prides themselves on their willingness to lend a helping hand to the needs of Immanuel Church. The Happy Boosters meet either in the homes of their members, the church, or travel to outside events.
We are women of all ages who gather together once a month (except July) on the 3rd Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. We meet at church in the dining hall, have fun, and plan and carry out a variety of projects that benefit our church and local, national, and international needs. We are also known for our delicious Men's Breakfast on Father's Day, our delightful Septemberfest Silent Auction and Country Store, and our freshly picked Georgia pecans for sale in November and December. Our June meeting includes a potluck supper, and in December we have a lovely Christmas dinner in restful, beautiful surroundings.
Our Mission Statement:
The Women of Immanuel are inspired to live our faith journeys by serving, witnessing, learning, supporting each other, and furthering the missions of Immanuel and the United Church of Christ.
We welcome all women anytime, whether or not you can attend regularly. Come and make more friends with other Women of Immanuel.

The Book Buddies is a self-forming group of adults which meets every Monday night from 7-8:30pm. You do not have to come every night, just whenever you can make it or when the topic interests you. The group chooses the next book by consensus; they are currently reading Wild by Cheryl Strayed. If you have any question you may contact Ron Gordon at firstname.lastname@example.org

DAWGS (or Do All With God) is our children's activity group.
Our kids, ages K-5th grade, enjoy trips to pick pumpkins, painting, outings to the movies, putt-putt, and anything else we can do together with our church friends!
