Music
Music is a vital part of Immanuel UCC. We have a new music director as of fall 2026, and she is building upon an already robust program. Our wonderful Chancel Choir sings a wide range of music, and provides leadership in Sunday morning worship services. We also have a house band named SoulShaker who plays about 6 weeks, with many original songs. We have had handbell choirs for all ages from youth to seniors that practice and perform on special occasions.
Youth
We have an amazing Youth Group. Every year we have two retreats (Spring and Fall), summer camp, lock-ins, & fundraisers,. We collaborate with the Kentuckiana Association of UCC churches because we know the more the merrier. No matter what we do, we always have fun!
Christian Education
We believe we can always learn more about our God, our beliefs, and our world through the eyes of faith, and others' beliefs. We respect one another, even if we do not exactly agree with one another. We try to make sure there is something for everyone throughout the week to enable them to grow closer to God. We have classes from Pre-K through adults. We have fun fellowship events like our intergenerational annual Wii bowling tournament and our famous haunted tunnel or trunk or treat during our Octoberfest.
